Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, in need of a hit to resurrect his career, will commence shooting for his new film ‘Pataas’ in Hyderabad from today.
Anil Ravipudi, co-writer of ‘Kandireega’ and forthcoming Mahesh-starrer ‘Aagadu’, will helm the flick which was officially launched on Friday in Hyderabad. Kalyan Ram’s dad Hari Krishna and brother NTR participated in the muhurat ceremony.
Describing ‘Pataas’ as an action entertainer with interesting twists and turns, Anil said that Kalyan Ram will be seen as a cop in the film. Also starring Sai Kumar, Ashutosh Rana, Brahmanandam, Jai Prakash Reddy and Posani Krishna Murali in supporting roles, the film will have tunes by Sai Karthik. Kalyan Ram is producing the film on NTR Arts.
