Biometric system to track teachers & students
Saraswathi Committee Aided School, which is serving the underprivileged community at Sitharamnagar, has introduced a biometric system in the institution which has 300 children and 8 teachers. The system has been introduced in the school mainly to check absenteeism of students and prevent fake attendance recorded by teachers. The system will also check teachers who dodge classes or come late to school.

Interestingly the government had also announced that they would introduce the thumb impression equipment in all government schools in urban and rural areas to check teachers dodging duties. Headmaster of the school B Ravindra Babu hoped that the government would soon implement its idea and improve the quality of education.
