Addressing students at a programme held at KVSR Siddhartha College of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the city on Tuesday, he underlined the need to increase the green cover to curb the growing pollution which posed a grave threat to the mankind.
Conservation of water resources should also be taken up in a big way to avert conflicts for the elixir of life in future, he said. Expressing serious concern over global warming, Gora Science Centre Director G Niyanta said everyone should strive to protect the planet earth by maintaining ecological balance. Pharmacy college principal G Devala Rao and faculty members were present.
