Blitzkrieg 2K16 evokes good response
About 650 students from 32 colleges participated in Blitzkrieg 2K16, a State level intercollegiate event, organised by students of the Computer Science Department of PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science in the city on Wednesday.
About 650 students from 32 colleges participated in Blitzkrieg 2K16, a State level intercollegiate event, organised by students of the Computer Science Department of PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science in the city on Wednesday. Krishna University Vice-Chancellor S Ramakrishna Rao attended the valedictory of the annual event as a chief guest and distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions conducted as part of Blitzkrieg.
The winners of the competitions included Andhra Loyola College (Technical Quiz and Treasure Hunt), PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology (Coding and Decoding), KBN College (Paper and Poster Presentation), and Sri Vidya Degree College (Dubsmash and Movie Quiz). K Sainath of Sri Vidya Degree College and N Latha of SRK Institute of Technology were adjudged Mister and Miss Blitzkrieg.
The KRU Vice-Chancellor was felicitated on the occasion. Siddhartha College principal Meka Ramesh, HoD of Computer Science TS Ravikiran, Dean Rajesh C Jampala, Blitzkrieg organising secretary Kavuri Sridhar, director Vemuri Babu Rao and faculty members were present.
