PMSS calls for applications from ex-servicemen’s children
Applications are open for children of ex-servicemen under the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) for the academic year 2016-17 to pursue professional degree courses.
Applications are open for children of ex-servicemen under the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) for the academic year 2016-17 to pursue professional degree courses. According to a press release issued by Krishna district Sainik Welfare Officer VV Raja Rao here on Monday, the last date for submission of applications by eligible candidates through online is November 15.
Under the scheme, a scholarship of Rs 2,000 per month will be provided to boys and Rs 2,250 to girls. Eligible students can visit the Kendriya Sainik Board website www.ksb.gov.in for further information and apply online. No paper applications will be considered. For more details, the students may also contact the district Sainik Welfare Office at Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium in the city, he said.
