Mountaineer Shekhar Babu felicitated
Mountaineer B Shekhar Babu who scaled Mount Everest at a young age, was felicitated by the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCV&A) at Madhu Malaxmi Chambers in the city on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Shekhar Babu who is running a Rock Climbing School at Bhongir in Telangana, said that 10 mountaineers who took coaching from him in mountaineering, had scaled Mount Everest so far. The mountaineer exhorted youngsters to develop interest in adventure sports which help them face challenges in real life boldly.
Golla Narayana Rao, chairman of Vijayawada Buddha Vihara, Sandeep Mandava, CEO of Malaxmi Property Ventures, Tirumala Srinivas, executive director of Malaxmi Infra, E Siva Nagi Reddy, CEO of the CCV&A, and others were present on the occasion.
