MYSUN, an online solar marketplace, on Sunday launched ‘CaptureMySun’ for phtographers from  Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, including amateurs, professionals, semi-professionals and hobby photographers to participate.

MYSUN, an online solar marketplace, on Sunday launched ‘CaptureMySun’ for phtographers from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, including amateurs, professionals, semi-professionals and hobby photographers to participate.

It began on a grand note at Qutub Shahi Tombs in Hyderabad and wiullcoulminate on February 20. The nationwide initiativewill go to more than 21 cities for a similar activity. Winners from each venue would then compete for a grand prize of Rs 50,000.

#CaptureMySun conducted the first walk in the series in Mumbai on December 18, 2016. To participate, individuals are needed to register themselves on MYSUN portal, participate in the walk on ground or simply upload the picture they click by geo-tagging them and submitting them on Instagram, with a caption #CaptureMySun.

Entries on the last day, according to Divyanshu Sachdev, co-founder of MYSUN. commented, “the resounding success in MUmbai has helped to bring the event to Andhra Pradesh, Telanganaand Karnataka.

The idea of #CaptureMySun is to build chatter around sun and encourage everyone to look at solar differently.” Arpit Verma, AVP-Marketing of MYSUN added, “A big part of our initiative at MYSUN is to create and curate demand for rooftop solar and that requires a lot of awareness. We will be able to build interest in solar in a unique way that has never been done before.”
