Job fair with 13 companies & 4000 aspirants
The Private Engineering College Management Association of Krishna district (PECMAK) organised a job fair at the Executive Club (EC) here on Monday.
The Private Engineering College Management Association of Krishna district (PECMAK) organised a job fair at the Executive Club (EC) here on Monday. PECMAK president M Srinivas Babu said that the Job fair was organised for the first time in the district by the PECMAK. Vijayawada city East MLA Gadde Rammohan Rao inaugurated the job fair in the morning at the EC.
The president Srinivas Rao said that about 13 companies took part in the job fair and will offer jobs to engineering students in various disciplines. Indus Land, Takata, Rane and Rajashriya are core companies, Object win, Pration Tech, Mozi Tech. Pitcs are Information and Technology companies and Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Consenctrics are Tech Support companies had offered more than 1200 jobs.
He said that more than 4000 students from 36 engineering colleges from various parts of Krishna district participated in the job fair. The students have to undergo Written/Online test, HR interview and Group Discussion before being selected by the companies.
He further added that the core and tech support companies were offering a pay of Rs 1.44 lakh per annum to the selected students and the Information and Technology companies are offering Rs 4 lakh per annum he added.
Udyogaratham (Connecting Andhra Pradesh youth to employment opportunities) has arranged a registration centre at the EC to offer jobs to all the job aspirants who participated in the job fair.
