Youth celebrate Happy Sunday at Panta Kaluva Road
District collector B Lakshmikantham has said that events like Happy Sunday will bring out the inner talent of artistes and appealed to the the city’s youth to take part in such events.

The collector along with the East Assembly coHappy Sundaynstituency MLA Gadde Rammohan participated in the Happy Sunday organised by VMC with some NGOs on Panta Kaluva road in Ninth Division.
Speaking on the occasion, he said initially Happy Sunday was conducted on the first Sunday of every month at IGMC stadium and now it extended to other parts of the city and is conducted every Sunday. Several hundred students studying in various schools and colleges joyfully participated in the Happy Sunday programme and performed dances. The participants played sports like Volley ball and shuttle badminton. The VMC officials and NGOs supervised the events.
