No mechanical or cosmetic changes have been made to the bike. The Pulsar NS 200 ABS is powered by a 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 23.5 HP of power and 18.3 Nm of torque. This motor comes paired to a six-speed gearbox.
The bike uses telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is via a 280 mm and a 230 mm disc brake at the front and rear respectively. Since the ABS is a single-channel unit, the sensor ring can be seen only on the front disc.
The ABS variant is priced at a premium of Rs 12,616 over the non-ABS version. The Pulsar NS 200 is the only player in its segment that offers ABS. TVS is yet to introduce the ABS and FI variant of the Apache 200.
