Devotees throng Padagaya

Kakinada: Devotees across the district thronged the famous Shiva Temple at Pithapuram here on Monday. devotees came to this famous “Padagaya” to have a Darshan of Lord “Kukkuteswara” and Goddess “Raja Rajeswari” and "Puruhutika" on the last Monday of the auspicious month of ‘Karthika’.

Devotees took a holy dip in the famous Padagaya “Pushkarini” early in the morning and offered the prayers and paid the floral tributes to Shiva. Devotees even released Diyas (Kartika Deepalu) in the Pushkarini. Devotees from neighbouring states like Odisha, Telangana and Karnataka also visited the famous Padagaya on the last Monday of the Kartika Masa.
