Rajamahendravaram: People participated in Prajavani programme in Sub-Collector's office here on Monday. They asked for house site pattas, old age pensions etc.
Receiving petitions from the people, Sub-Collector Saikanth Varma said that house sites to the poor will be sanctioned along with construction of houses as per the directions of the government.
All the petitions received in the Prajavani programme would be cleared as early as possible and the officials of various departments were directed to settle them without delay, the people said.
Meanwhile, C Veera Venkamma of Burrilanka village in Kadiyam mandal complained that the government issued house site patta but have not given land and asked the Sub-Collector to sanction house sites immediately.
Tashildar T Rajeswara Rao, assistant social welfare officer K David Raju and other officials were present.
