Akiveedu: The Akiveedu Police handed over two children safely to their parents when the duo was missing and wandering at the Railway Station in Akiveedu on Friday.

Kourigiri Rajesh of Satyawada village in Tanuku mandal has three children. The poor daily wage earner’s daughters Danamma (5) and Mahalakshmi (4) came out of their house to bring breakfast on Thursday. The two went missing from that day. Meanwhile, the Akiveedu police received information that two children were in the Akiveedu Railway Station during the night.

The Akiveedu SI, Sudhakar Reddy went to the station and brought the two girls to the police station.

Later the police shifted them to Bala Sadan in Akiveedu the same night. On the information from the Police, the parents reached Akiveedu on Friday. They identified their children in Balasadan.

Akiveedu ASI Akurati Suryanarayana said that after obtaining proofs of Aadhaar Card, they handed over the children to their parents. The parents thanked the police and Balasadan Superintendent Srilakshmi for their help to track the children.
