The city witnessed a music concert of Ghantasala songs that was conducted at the Hindu Young Men Association (YMHA) hall in memory of YMHA Executive Committee President and Auditor late CH Narasimha Rao (Gopi). The programme was jointly organised by YMHA and Ghantasala Music College.

Eluru: The city witnessed a music concert of Ghantasala songs that was conducted at the Hindu Young Men Association (YMHA) hall in memory of YMHA Executive Committee President and Auditor late CH Narasimha Rao (Gopi). The programme was jointly organised by YMHA and Ghantasala Music College.

The YMHA Trust Board General Secretary, KV Satyanarayana and noted singer Sarath Chandra inaugurated the concert.

Addressing the inaugural meeting, the speakers remembered the services of Ch Narasimha Rao (Gopi) to the YMHA, and stated that as a fan of Ghantasala, he had conducted many musical programmes. The speakers said that another fan and singer Sarath Chandra dedicated his services in singing the Ghantasala songs in various places.

YMHA members felicitated Sarath Chandra on the occasion.The YMHA executive committee in-charge president, Majji Kantha Rao, general secretary Paladugu Murali Shyam, KB Rao, M Srinivas, Trust Board treasurer Yarra Somalingeswara Rao addressed the programme.
Later, Sarath Chandra conducted the music concert. Singers V Revati Ramkumar, Kumari, Manasvini also participated in the concert.
