Vijayawada: Krishna University weightlifting and best physique men team is taking part in the All India Inter University Weightlifting Championship for 2017-18 to be held in Chandigarh University in Punjab from December 20 to 23.
The members of the weightlifting team are K Swamy (Zakir Hussain College, Ibrahimpatnam), K Lakshmana Rao (Vijaya College of Physical Education, Nunna) and M Manikanta (Vidyalaya Degree College Gundivada).
Krishna University Weightlifting Intercollegiate organising secretary Vasireddy Nageswara Rao and Krishna University Sports Board secretary Dr N Srinivasa Rao wished the players selected to participate in the All India Inter University Weightlifting Championship.
