Bhimvaram: Muslims called for a rally in protest against the announcement of US President Donald Trump, stating that Jerusalem was the capital of Israel on Friday.

Muslims, after the Namaaz at Masjid, took out the rally in the streets led by Jamat-e -Islami Hind. The Jamat- e-Islami-hind leaders stated that the Donald Trump had violated the UN resolution 478/1980. The decision of Donald Trump would have adverse impact on religious and social circumstances in Palestine. They extended their solidarity to the Palestine people.

The leaders said that the protest was a part of the call given by the Muslim Associations. Jamat-e-Islami-Hind town unit President Sheikh Intiyaz, State campaigning steering committee member Mohammad Siddiqui, Muslim Committee President Sheikh Rabbani, 19th ward councillor Md Allauddin Naushad, Jamat members Abdul Raheem, MM Pasha and others participated in the protest.
