MLC urges people to avail schemes
MLC Adireddy Appa Rao has advised people to avail welfare schemes introduced by the government to better their living. “Janmabhoomi Maa Vuru programme is aimed at knowing the problems and resolve immediately,” he said.
Rajamahendravaram: MLC Adireddy Appa Rao has advised people to avail welfare schemes introduced by the government to better their living. “Janmabhoomi Maa Vuru programme is aimed at knowing the problems and resolve immediately,” he said. Participating in the Janmabhoomi programme held at 11th division here on Wednesday, he said that the government is spending crores of rupees on welfare and development activities though the state has a deficit of funds.
“Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu is marching ahead for the development of the state, despite problems,” he said, all praises for the government. Ration cards, pensions and houses would be given to every eligible beneficiary and asked them to list their grievances in the programme to get their grievances addressed immediately.
The government directed the officials to resolve issues that arose in the Janmabhoomi Maa Vuru programme. Any number of eligible persons would be sanctioned widow pension, old age pension, handicapped pension in a particular family.
Commissioner V Vijayarama Raju said the people could get houses under the urban housing programme as per the guidelines laid down by the government. The corporation has taken an initiative to make Rajamahendravaram as clean and green city and appealed to the people to extend their co-operation in this regard. TDP leader Adireddy Vasu and others were present.
