Guntur: Rural SP Ch Venkata Appala Naidu appreciated constable BSRK Prasad who bagged silver medal at 39th Senior South Zone National Hand Ball Championship tournament held in Tenali town in Guntur district from January 24 to 26.
The latter represented the Andhra Pradesh team in the tournament. The official is currently working in the Anti-Naxal Squad. Speaking on this occasion, the SP said that those who participate in the sports would be active and healthy. “Winning medals in the competition are a source of encouragement,” said the SP. Guntur Rural OSD Beeram Nageswara Rao was also present.
