VMC services through Global Information System
Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) Commissioner J Nivas has said the VMC is planning to connect property tax assessment and all comprehensive details through Global Information System (GIS) for the comprehensive development of the city. All the house numbers will be changed and new numbers will be allocated scientifically.

All the house numbers will be changed and new numbers will be allocated scientifically.
A review meeting was held at VMC office here on Thursday. Commissioner Nivas said that the meeting was held with Anurag Technologies OSD Venkateswara Rao along with team members on a few topics. The Commissioner explained that enumerators would come to each house and collect all the details. He ordered the revenue department to take appropriate action. Deputy Commissioner (revenue) G Subba Rao, GIS representatives and other staff were present.
