Sri Rama Navami celebrated with religious fervour

Anantapuramu: Sri Rama Navami was celebrated with gaiety and fervour here on Friday. A large number of devotees thronged the temples of Lord Rama in Anantapuramu district. Serpentine queues were witnessed in several temples. Joint Collector S Satyanarayana visited Sri Kodanda Ramalayam in the morning along with his family and offered special prayers. Later, Anantapuramu MP Ananta Venkata Rami Reddy offered silk clothes and pearls to Lord Rama and his consort Sita.

Nellore: Sri Rama Navami was celebrated with pomp on Friday. Thousands of people flocked to the temples in various parts of the district. The temple officials made elaborate arrangements for the convenience of the devotees. In villages, people have been celebrating Rama Navami for the last nine days. There is a firm belief among the devotees that visiting a Rama temple on Sri Rama Navami would bring happiness and prosperity in their lives, besides completing their tasks successfully.

Kadapa: Minister for Health DL Ravindra Reddy performed special pujas at Sitaramula Kalyanotsavam at Kodandaramalayam in Old Duvvuru on Friday. Former ZPTC Gopireddy Babu accompanied the Minister. Earlier, DCCB Chairman Iragamreddy Tirupal Reddy also worshipped the Lord on Sri Rama Navami
