Hyderabad: IAS officer Y Srilakshmi was released on Monday from the women's prison in Chanchalguda after the special court granted her bail. She was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the illegal mining case. Keeping her health condition in view, the special court granted her bail on Saturday. However, it took time for her advocates to furnish the sureties and secure the release order. Around 5 pm, two women police constables walked Srilakshmi out of the prison as she was not in a state to walk on her own. Outside the prison, her husband and senior IPS officer N Gopi Krishna received her and supported her to get into the car.
