YSRCP MLA Srikanth Reddy flings mike at Mothkupalli vij2 Hyderabad: TDP MLA Motkupalli Narsimhulu who went hammer and tongs against the former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and his son YS Jaganmohan Reddy had to face the ire of YSRCP MLAs several times. Motkupalli's speech was marred by constant interruptions from the YSRCP MLAs for his personalised attack on two persons who were not in the House. YSRCP MLAs trooped into the well of the House twice and strongly objected Motkupalli's remarks on the late leader and demanded an apology from him. While Balineni Srinivasa Reddy broke his mike, another YSRCP MLA threw his headphone into the well of the House. TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeriah and YSRCP MLA Srinivasulu engaged in a heated argument with Mothkupalli. Vijayamma also strongly objected to personal attack saying that she never targeted or insulted any TDP leader on personal grounds in her speech. "I am deeply hurt," she said. Deputy Speaker Bhatti Vikramarka, who was in the Speaker's chair, had to repeatedly request the MLAs to go back to their seats but all his efforts went in vain. He adjourned the House for ten minutes, but the House witnessed the same furore even after resumption. The Deputy Speaker then assured that the unparliamentary and objectionable remarks made by Motkupalli would be deleted from the records after examining them. Unfazed by the interruptions, Motkupalli continued to attack YSR's rule and his family. "The YSR regime was a synonym for corruption. Rajasekhara Reddy has destroyed the State in every sphere. The leaders of YSRCP are wicked. CBI charge-sheet clearly stated that Jagan looted Rs 43,000 crore directly and I don't hesitate to call him a dacoit. Had YS been alive today, he would have been in jail." Motkupalli lambasted in his one-hour long speech. "Congress and YSRCP have colluded with each other and no one has any doubt that Jagan's party will merge with Congress one day. We demand that Rs one lakh crore that was looted by Jagan should be recovered and be used for loan waiver scheme," Narasimhulu said. His tirade against YSR and Jagan put the entire YSRCP on its toes. "We are very much against this government. But we are not supporting the no-confidence because our leader has been on a mass contact programme. Once his padayatra is over, we will consider moving no-trust move," Motkupalli added.
