The State Government on Tuesday shuffled 18 senior IAS officers including GHMC commissioner M T Krishna Babu, T Radha, commissioner of disaster management and J Raymond Peter, principal secretary of social welfare department.
Somesh Kumar, commissioner of tribal welfare was posted as commissioner of GHMC. Jyothi Buddha Prakash, director of National Rural Health Mission was shifted to GHMC as special commissioner and P Venkatarami Reddy was posted as additional commissioner of GHMC vice G D Priyadarshini was transferred.
However, postings are yet to be given to three of the IAS officers transferred from their existing posts. They included GHMC commissioner M T Krishna Babu, Adhar Sinha, Principal Secretary, municipal administration and A R Sukumar, Principal Secretary, backward classes.
T Radha, who has a proven track record as commissioner to disaster management, was shifted to backward classes welfare department as principal secretary replacing Raymond Peter who was moved to rural development in the existing vacancy.
Likewise, Shyam Kumar Sinha, principal secretary of GPM and AR department was transferred and posted as principal secretary to services and HRM of general administration. Sameer Sharma, commissioner of prohibition and excise was shifted to municipal administration and urban development as principal secretary and.
Harpreet Singh, special commissioner of commercial taxes was placed in CCLA as commissioner (Appeals) in the existing vacancy and C Parthasarathi, project director AIDS Control Society was posted as commissioner to disaster management and secretary to revenue department.
Busani Venkateswara Rao, secretary to services and HRM in General Administration was shifted to Endowments as secretary and B Udayalaxmi, commissioner of social welfare was placed in tribal welfare department as commissioner. G Jaya Laxmi, commissioner of employment and training was posted as commissioner of social welfare and Ahmed Nadeem, secretary in minorities’ welfare department was transferred to prohibition and excise as commissioner. D Muralidhar Reddy, who is waiting for posting, was placed in panchayatraj department as CEO of employment generation and marketing mission.
