Flooded tracks in AP: Trains cancelled, diverted

Hyderabad: Railways have cancelled some trains and diverted several trains due to flooding of railway tracks in some parts of Andhra Pradesh.

The trains were fully or partially cancelled or diverted due to damage to tracks between Khurda Road and Palasa of Vizianagaram section of East Coast Railway and between Bayyavaram and Narsingapalli stations on Vijayawada division of South Central Railway.

The cancelled trains include Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Janmabhoomi Express, Viskahaptnam-Vijayawada Ratnachal Express, Visakhaptnam-Tirupati Tirumala Express, Nanded-Visakhapatnam Express, Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Tirumala Express, Secunderabad-Howrah Falaknuma Express, Mumbai CST-Bhubaneswar Konark Express and Rameswaram-Bhubaneswar Express.

The Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam Ratnachal Express was partially cancelled between Rajahmundry and Visakhapatnam. and the Visakhaptnam-Nizamuddin Link express between Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. It will run from Vijayawada to Nizamuddin.

Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad Visakha Express was partially cancelled between Bhubaneswar and Rajahmundry. This train will originate from Rajahmundry.
