Enthused by the overwhelming success of the ‘Samaikya Sankharavam’ held on Saturday, YSR Congress Party has decided to intensify the movement against State bifurcation. An action plan to continue the party’s struggle in support of united Andhra would be announced in the first week of November.
Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday held a meeting with party senior leaders, including MV Mysoora Reddy, K Ramakrishna and Shoba Nagi Reddy at his residence. Party sources said that Jagan discussed in detail the factors that contributed to the success of the party’s public meeting. He thanked all the leaders for mobilising people in huge numbers in spite of incessant rains and bad weather conditions that prevailed in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions on the day.
Sources said that Jagan instructed the leaders to conduct meetings with local leaders in their respective assembly constituencies and seek their suggestions on how to intensify movement. They said Jagan was also keen on launching yatras in Seemandhra districts once he got permission from the CBI court to tour the State.
