Kadapa: The former minister of Andhra Pradesh for primary health, DL Ravindra Reddy on Wednesday said with Rachchabanda, there will not be any use to a common man.
He spoke to media on Wednesday and said the funds amounting Rs 9 crores allocated towards the old age pensions have not reached the beneficiaries, so far.
He alleged that Government has become a mere agency of giving only statements. He urged the locals to vote for the right candidate in the forthcoming elections.
From the other side, Rachchabanda program, officially undertaken by the govt has become a matter of controversies in various districts. People started attacking the officials at many places.
While few people are questioning them on development, some are questioning them on Samaikyandhra. The locals attacked Tirupati MLA, Chinta Mohan and Satyavedu MLA, Hema Latha at Varadaiahpalem, who came to participate in Rachchabanda program.
The locals demanded them to resign to their posts to participate in Samaikyandhra movement. The local police immediately reacted and arrested the agitators.
In a similar vein, at Veeravasam in West Godavari district, Bhimavaram MLA, Pulaparti Ramanjaneyulu of TDP was attacked by the YSRCP leaders. Ramanjaneyulu went there to participate in Rachchabanda program.
As he was left with no option, he went back from the place without participating in the program. At Metapally in Karimnagar, the minister of civil supplies, Sridhar Babu unveiled the Rachchabanda program without presenting the chief minister’s speech.
