Karimnagar: MP Ponnam Prabhakar and MLA A Praveen Reddy tore off Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s picture printed on the ‘Bangaru Thalli’ scheme document at Rachabanda programme held at Chigurumamidi in Karimnagar district on Wednesday. According to sources, the MP and the MLA came to attend the programme. Before addressing the programme, Prabhakar along with the MLA had torn the Chief Minister’s photo on the document.
The MP criticised Kiran Kumar Reddy for opposing the decision on separate Telangana state which was taken by the Congress Party leadership. He exuded confidence that the separate Telangana State formation bill would be passed in the winter session of Parliament and the Telangana State would become a reality before January 2014.
