CPI vehemently opposes RT, Opposing the Rayala Telangana Proposal. Speaking on the occasion, Narayana questioned the Centre’s sudden move to think of carving out T state by merging two districts of Rayalaseema in it

Hyderabad: Opposing the Rayala Telangana proposal, CPI leaders on Thursday took to the streets. The party leaders led by CPI State Secretary K Narayana took out a rally from Makhdoom Bhavan to Himayatnagar Y junction and burned the effigy of Central government. The party cadres also forced the shops en-route to pull their shutters down.
Speaking on the occasion, Narayana questioned the Centre’s sudden move to think of carving out T state by merging two districts of Rayalaseema in it, in contravention of the CWC resolution. “A non-agenda was made an agenda,” he said. According to him, the division of Rayalaseema would be an “unnatural division. It is nothing but a criminal idea coming out of the minds of criminal gang,” he said. CPI (ML) New Democracy (Twin Cities Committee) also took out a bike rally from its party office in Vidyanagar to Secunderabad clock tower opposing Rayala Telangana.
IFTU State general secretary P Prasad, city secretary Jhansi, PDSU state secretary Goutham Prasad, PYL state president Hanmesh, IFT city president and secretary Aruna and S L Padma and Auto Motor Workers Union leader V Kiran and others took part in the rally.
