Both die in fatal mishap
Hyderabad: A motorist was killed in a road accident along with a GHMC sweeper on Thursday morning near Jalavihar at Necklace Road.
According to P Shivaprasad, SI, Ramgopalpet police station, J Anasuyamma, 61, a GHMC sweeper was knocked down by a speeding Bajaj Pulsar bike around 9.30 am. Meanwhile, Harish, 19, the bike rider, lost control after he knocked down the sweeper and hit the divider sustaining grievous brain injuries. Death was instant for Harish. The pillion rider, Mobin, 18, suffered right leg fracture.
Harish was a B Tech student of CMR Engineering College and a resident of Old Bowenpally, the police said.
Police registered a case under section 304A and 337 of the IPC and took up the investigation.
