Tearful Farewell to Dharmavarapu, Comedian Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam Died. Thousands of fans of the comedian took part in the last journey which took off from his residence at Addanki Bhavani Centre, at around 2 pm. His two sons, Rohan Sandeep and Brahmateja, lit the funeral pyre.
Ongole: A tearful farewell was given on Monday afternoon to popular comedian Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, who died in Hyderabad on Saturday after being struck by cancer. People of Prakasam district bid him a touching adieu after the funeral ceremony was performed at his farm house in Singarakonda.
Thousands of fans of the comedian took part in the last journey which took off from his residence at Addanki Bhavani Centre, at around 2 pm. His two sons, Rohan Sandeep and Brahmateja, lit the funeral pyre.
Giddalur MLA Rambabu, Nalluri Venkateswarlu, TDP leader Karanam Balaramakrishna Murthy, Bachina Chenchu Gartaiah and Karanam Venkateswarlu were among the leaders who present at the funeral. They laid wreaths on the body.
