The Hyderabad Metro Rail will soon make the travelling by Metro Rail, a beautiful experience. Many points of Metro along the length of the track are elevated at a height of 21 meters from the ground, paving a way for the passengers to have a panoramic view of the city and its iconic structures.

Also, the crossing of two metro corridors would enable a quaint view of the fly-overs of Hyderabad. According to the sources, there would be three such places in the city where the corridors will intercross.

The maximum height the metro would pass through would be 20 to 21 meters from the ground level, added the sources. The metro corridor from Miyapur to LB Nagar and Nagole to Shilparamam would cross over at Ameerpet. The Jubilee Bus Station to Falaknuma and Miyapur to LB Nagar corridors would cross over at Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS). Similarly, the Jubilee Bus Station and Nagole Shilparamam corridor would cross over near Parade Grounds at Secunderabad.

It is learnt that at Chilkalguda crossing the metro lane will be at 65 feet above the ground level and 26 feet from the railway track. At Bharat Nagar crossing point, metro would pass over a height of 46 feet from the ground level.

Similarly near the Lakdikapul, the height would be 35 meters, at Malakpet 58 feet, Alagaddabavi at 59 feet, at Olifanta Bridge 58 feet and at Bhoiguda side the height would be at 53 feet from the ground level. The span would be ranging from 39.5 meters (at Begumpet) to 150 meters (at Bharatnagar).
