A case has been booked against YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy by the Saroornagar police on Friday as per the directions given by a court.
He has been charged with wrongly singing the National Anthem during the Samaikya Sankharavam meeting held on October 26, 2013, at LB Stadium in Hyderabad. The meeting was successful with the public supporting Samaikyandhra thronging the venue in a big way.
The masses responded well to Jagan’s speech but at the end of it, the National Anthem which was started by Jupudi Prabhakar was taken on a wrong node by some of the participants. A Telangana lawyer filed a case against Jagan in the Saifabad police station for insulting the anthem in the public.
