Will Sridharbabu offer resignation?

Hyderabad: The minister in the state cabinet, Sridharbabu has all set ready to offer his resignation. It is learned that he got annoyed with the way the Chief Minister has sidelined him from his existing portfolio. He informed his decision of resigning to his fellow ministers of Telangana region, on Wednesday.

The resignation letter, which he made ready to submit to the governor, ESL Narasimhan was taken over by Jana Reddy, another minister in the state cabinet. The same was presented before the media. Jana said that he has convinced Sridaharbabu to not take any step in a hurry, which may ultimately have an effect on ‘T’ formation. All ministers rushed to the Governor's residence and met him in person. Later, they held discussions at Jana's residence.

Following the meeting, they addressed the media and said Chief Minister has a right to interchange portfolios. But, they said, the way he opted for the same was not correct. Jana Reddy viewed this move of the Chief Minister as another conspiracy to create hurdles in T formation. Sridharbabu denied the new portfolio offered to him and said the same may be allotted to someone, who is more efficient. He said he was restricted from resignation by fellow ministers in view of the forthcoming T-debate. But, said Sridharbabu, he will consult high command and may offer his resignation directly to the Chief Minister on Thursday.
