Hyderabad: Secunderabad Urban Division Railway Police on Friday apprehended one person in connection with a theft case and recovered 38 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs 1.8 lakh from his possession.
The accused Khaja Jaleeluddin Ahmed alias Chaus, 54, of Talabkatta was arrested under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Railway Police PV Muralidhar. Railway police sources said that the arrest was made on the basis of a complaint lodged by one Bhupathi Nagaraju belonging to Narsapur in West Godavari district. “During the interrogation, he confessed to have committed the theft,” the sleuths informed.
