Palem Bus accident: Family members arrested in Himayatnagar

Hyderabad: The family members of Palem Volvo bus accident, who attempted to reach the state assembly in a rally, have been arrested on their way to assembly. On Tuesday, all the members of victims’ families left for state assembly in a rally from Himyatanagar AITUC office. They have been arrested on their way. Following the arrest, they said arresting the people who have been demanding for justice itself is another injustice caused to them. The CPI leaders have started protesting near the police station, claiming the arrest of family members of victims as unlawful.

It is worth mentioning here that the Tollywood film actor Shivaji called on Botsa Satyanarayanaon Monday, accompanied by the family members of the victims and demanded for an exgratia of Rs. 25 lakh each, apart from a guaranteed government job to a family member of victim’s family. They collectively demanded for the running of private buses, only with the authenticated permission from the government. Botsa in response to their demands said the entire thing is not in his domain. So, said Botsa, he will workout accordingly by making this issue forwarded to the concerned.
