APSRTC Gets Added Income> This year Sankranti eve brought light into the life of APSRTC. As compared to last four years, APSRTC gained an extra income of Rs 7cr. APSRTC has been instrumental in transporting almost 13 lakh passengers to different destinations in all corners of the state.
This year Sankranti eve brought light into the life of APSRTC. As compared to last four years, APSRTC gained an extra income of Rs 7cr. APSRTC has been instrumental in transporting almost 13 lakh passengers to different destinations in all corners of the state.
For Sankranti festival, APSRTC has run 9,251 special buses. From Hyderabad alone, as many as 4640 special buses have been run. Of these 4640 buses, 2213 buses were run in Telangana region and remaining 2427 buses were run to cover Seemandhra region.
With only one side transportation of passengers, APSRTC has gained an income of Rs 7 cr. The figure is likely to become double, once all the passengers come back to their original places, after the festival.
