With plans of introducing and passing the Telangana bill in the forthcoming session the Congress is trying to become the shining new star.

When senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh said that Kiran Kumar Reddy was acting like a regional leader, the CM took his stand and said that his role as people's representative is more critical than his role as a Congressman. He referred them as the Centre and acting representative of Telangana.

Not just that, the Congress made a move some time back when the unanimous resolution was passed last year and TRC agreed to the policy of sharing Hyderabad as a common capital. The INC (Indian National Congress) made attempts to merge with TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samhithi).

With the 2014 General elections round the corner, Congress is trying hard to bring Telangana people’s dream to reality and make its place in the centre.
