Telangana Bill Reaches New Delhi. Amidst strong security, the Telangana reorganization bill reached Delhi on Monday. Along with the bill, the resolution passed by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh was also carried.
New Delhi: Amidst strong security, the Telangana reorganization bill reached Delhi on Monday. Along with the bill, the resolution passed by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh was also carried. Based on the instructions received from the President of India, the bill was carried in a special charter plane, instead of sending it either by post or courier.

The bill was packed in 35 bundles in 9 boxes. The Indigo special flight was left for Delhi at around 6 a.m. along with 7 officials. The special officer on duty from Secretariat, Ramakrishna Rao led the team. Later, at 7.30 another 20 boxes were taken to Delhi by Special officer Ramaraju.
