It is evident that the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, who planned earlier to sit-in for deeksha at Shaktisthal has now shifted his venue to Jantarmantar in Delhi.
According to TG Venkatesh, the Chief Minister had to shift his venue due to the ongoing renovation work at Shaktisthal. He said the Chief Minister will offer tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat before beginning his deeksha at Jantarmantar.

It is worth mentioning here that the Chief Minister will be accompanied by the Seemandhra MLAs and leaders of Congress party in his deeksha to keep the state united.
