Venkaiah Naidu Had Meaningful Discussions With Jairam Ramesh. The Rajya Sabha member and senior leader of Bharaitya Janata Party venkaiah Naidu on Friday addressed the media in Delhi and said there came about meaningful discussions between him and Jairam Ramesh on Thursday.
New Delhi: The Rajya Sabha member and senior leader of Bharaitya Janata Party venkaiah Naidu on Friday addressed the media in Delhi and said there came about meaningful discussions between him and Jairam Ramesh on Thursday.
Naidu said he asked the latter to include all information in detail, as far as Telangana bill was concerned. He said Jairam to include Polavaram as a multi-use project in the prevailing bill.
It is worth mentioning here that due to the ongoing Telangana issue, in order to pass the bill in either house, it is mandatory to have support from the Bharatiya Janata Party. The bill, after few amendments will be put forward before the union cabinet for its approval on Friday evening. For the same, the GoM sought opinions from various leaders including Seemandhra ministers. In the similar context, Jairam Ramesh called on Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday evening.
