At a time when political circles are abuzz with reports that Centre is preparing to sack Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Saturday tried to clear the air saying the Congress High Command will not make such attempts.
Speaking to the media in Vijayawada, the minister for Infrastructure and Investments predicted that the Telangana Bill will not be passed in the Parliament session as all the national parties are opposing the Bill. "Since BJP, SP and several other parties are opposing the Telangana bill, it will not get passed in the Parliament," he added.
He also found fault with the Centre for clearing the Bill which was rejected by the state assembly. He also said that they are not thinking on floating a new party and they were only channelising their efforts towards keeping the state united.
