Hyderabad: In an effort to dispel fears among the people of Telangana over BJP’s commitment towards Telangana State in the wake of conflicting reports emerging from New Delhi, party’s state unit president G Kishan Reddy stated that the BJP had not moved an inch backwards on Telangana.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Kishan Reddy flayed opposition parties for their targeted campaign against the BJP. He stated that the BJP national leadership had assured a delegation from the State on Friday that it would support the AP Reorganisation Bill in both Houses of Parliament. He said that his party would suggest amendments to the AP Reorganisation Bill in Parliament to safeguard interests of both regions. The BJP state unit president lashed out at the Congress party for playing double game on the issue.
