Chief Secretary launches eBiz portal

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary P K Mohanty said that the State received Rs 15,000 crore worth investments in the current financial year because of the incentives being given by the government. Launching the beta version of AP Single Window Services on eBiz portal in Secretariat here on Friday, Mohanty said that this mission mode project would help the State make a paradigm shift in its approach to providing G2B (Government to Business ) services for investor and business communities.

He said that eBiz was one of the 32 integrated mission-mode projects under the national e-Governance Plan of the Government of India and as many as 13 services would be made available to general public from March 1, 2014. The services include issue of licence for manufacturing bulk drugs and formulations, allotment of scarce raw materials, industrial incentives, MSME registration and factories license, the Chief Secretary added.
