At a time when the Seemandhra leaders are lambasting the Congress High Command over bifurcation and predicting that it won't get even a single seat in the Seemandhra region, several leaders including PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana are coming in support of the Congress High Command and justifying its decision to divide the state.

PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana said that in the past no other divided state had received such a package. He, however, said that he would try for a better package for the Seemandhra region.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy indirectly criticized Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and other Congress leaders for quitting the party.

"We cannot do anything at this stage except to oppose the bifurcation process. Our efforts to keep the state united have gone futile," he said.
