Senior Congress leader J.C. Diwakar Reddy who once demanded that Sonia Gandhi step down as president of AICC, has sharpened his criticizms against her.

Speaking to the media after meeting former chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, MLA and former minister JC criticized his party president calling her a mad woman. "She has been given a stone, but she doesn't know in which direction to throw. The stone may hurt you or others. We should take away the stone from her or stay calm. If there's an issue, any person would take a decision necessary discussions and enquiries. But that is not happening with Sonia Gandhi.

Fighting for a new capital is waste of time and Delhi bosses are not aware of where is Eluru and where is Ananthapur," JC added.

Stating that Congress party has no fortunes in the Seemandhra region, he reiterated that regional parties will come to power and Congress party's condition in AP will be like that in Tamil Nadu.

Interestingly, he also revealed that several Congress leaders have approached other parties, but returned when denied tickets. Some leaders are trying for the CM post just to clear some files.

Replying to a question, he said that he will soon quit Congress party. JC, however, did not reveal the name of party he would be joining, but added time will reveal.
