Reports suggest that the bus was heading towards Hyderabad when the fire mishap occurred.
It is learnt that the driver of the bus alerted the passengers soon as he noticed smoke emanating from the engine.
Fortunately, the panic-stricken passengers quickly got down from the bus to save themselves from the blaze.
Fire extinguishers have been pressed into service. The fire tenders are trying to douse the blaze. Short circuit is suspected to be the cause of fire.
