The Congress politician came along with his wife, son, daughter to vote at a polling station in the Khairatabad assembly seat in Hyderabad.

According to reports Chiranjeevi break the queue and went up to the polling booth along with his family members.
A NRI voter, Kartik, instantly objected and said, "Do you need special treatment? You may be a union minister, but you are not a senior citizen. You should not jump the queue with your family."

The Voter who said he had come all the way from London and had been waiting for more than an hour in the queue.
The situation became much more embarrassing for the actor, when the rest of the voters started clapping and cheering the young man Karthik.
Having no choice, Chiranjeevi had to walk back and stand in queue. Ramcharan Teja, also being a film star, was upset with this and the polling station, but he later returned to vote.
When reporters asked about this to Chiranjeevi he replied
"I have never violated the rules. I had just left the queue to see if my name was on the voting list," Chiranjeevi told reporters.
Much appreciated by his spirit at the hour, Karthik said "I respect him, but he should follow the queue. He is not over 65 or disabled."
