Basara Heaving With Devotees. The devotees have been filled to capacity at Saraswathi Mata temple in Basara of Adilabad district in Telangana. It is a strong belief among the Hindus that whosoever begins their education with formal and ritual ceremony at Basara, in presence of Mata Saraswathi on Akshaya Tritiya, they would excel in their studies.

The auspicious time on Friday began very early on Friday. In view of this, the devotees hastened the temple after taking the sacred baths since very early morning. The devotees are getting the formal part completed to begin the education of their kids, after offering the alms. An estimated time of 4 hrs is taking for each darshan due to the heavy swarm in the temple. Not only from Andhra Pradesh, but devotees from Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala also have come to Basara for the sake of Aksharabhyasam.
