In a shocking incident that happened in Mallavaripallem of Bapatla mandal in Guntur district, the village heads of Mallavaripallem have boycotted a family from their village for allegedly voting for Telugu Desam Party in the recently concluded polls, disregarding the choice made by the so called village heads.

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident that happened in Mallavaripallem of Bapatla mandal in Guntur district, the village heads of Mallavaripallem have boycotted a family from their village for allegedly voting for Telugu Desam Party in the recently concluded polls, disregarding the choice made by the so called village heads.
According to sources, Rami Reddy, a villager of Mallavaripallem, has franchised his vote for Telugu Desam Party in the just concluded elections. It was viewed as a grave offence by the village heads. Apart from boycotting Rami Reddy’s family from the village, the village heads have fined him with an amount of Rs 1000. The infuriated victim approached the local police. A case has been booked by the police and investigations are on.
