Hyderabad: Governor E S L Narasimhan approved the vote-on-account budget for the next three months for the two proposed States of Telangana and the residuary Andhra Pradesh -- commencing from June 2. Narasimhan signed the Budget Release Order file on Saturday.
The budget for the next three months -- June, July and August -- would be released in the united Andhra Pradesh. The finance department estimated Rs 26,000 crore for Telangana for the next three months and Rs 36,000 crore for the residuary Andhra Pradesh. The decision was taken to facilitate the two State governments to meet the expenses after the Appointed Day on June 2.
